Following on from my last post, it turns out Ebuyer/Citylink/Nightline actually lost Laura's laptop that we ordered, and delivered my new laptop/netbook - An Asus EEEPC-901 - Which runs linux, and has a 20gb solid state drive. :)

It's even smaller than I imagined, and my fat fingers struggle to type properly, but it's very cute. Laura want's to take it to uni in her handbag, just to show how small it is! :) As you can see from the picture, its not much wider than a pencil (on the long side!) the fallback is that it has a small screen, but even that's got a big enough resolution - 1024 x 600. It has a nice quick(ish) processor @ 1.6ghz and 1gb of RAM.

I haven't really tested it out yet, and I haven't loaded it up with lots of software yet, so it may get slower over time. I am resisting installing windows on it, as I have never really got into Linux, and I really should learn :)
