BCS membership
I was reading they copy of IT now that i recieved in the post this morning, and there is an interview with one of the original members ofthe BCS, who talks about how she found the society to be integral to her success in business.
It got me thinking that I should have more involvement with the society, if just the London group. I keep getting reminders about upcoming events and lectures that look really interesting, but never actually go, even though the headquarters are minutes away from where i work.
I`m also annoyed that i didn't pull my finger out and go to the TBL lecture that Tom went to.
I'm wondering whether anybody i know goes to these, or is even a member of the BCS, and would like to start going to these events on a regular basis?

- You're annoyed that you didnt go to the TBL lecture. I signed up for tickets, got some but was never notified so I never went when I could have. - Geoff on Fri Mar 23 2007 09:18:48 GMT+0000 (Coordinated Universal Time)
- Muhahaha - to be honest the lecture was about 15 minutes walk from my office, so it wasn't much hassle to get there for 7:30pm :) - Tom on Fri Mar 23 2007 10:04:33 GMT+0000 (Coordinated Universal Time)
- I'm looking forward to the Robotkind: on the battlefield and in the home lecture, on the 16th May. Anyone up for that? - James on Fri Mar 23 2007 12:46:20 GMT+0000 (Coordinated Universal Time)
