This weekend (14th July 2006) I graduated from the University of Hull with a First Class Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Internet Computing at the Spa Hotel Complex in Scarborough.

I was also suprised to find out that I had been nominated and had won 3 university prizes!!!

• Ede and Ravenscroft Prize for Excellence in Combined/Single Honours
• GB Cook Prize in Computing for Best Project in the Honours Stage
• GB Cook Prize in Computing for an Outstanding Performance in the Honours Stage

I'm still a little unclear what they are for, and what the prize actually is, but I'm sure I'll find out eventually!

It was nice to be recognised for the last 3 years hard work, and everyone seemed to enjoy the ceremony, if a little long winded and hot!

I was good to have a picture of all of us from harcourt place.

But it was a pity we couldn't get all of the CIC in the picture due to some people not coming to the CIC after graduation buffet.

The Grad Ball in the evening was unremarkable apart from the tasty food but expensive drinks.
