The last few days have been relatively hectic! hehe

After finding the aforementioned geek-heaven, the following day we found LadyFink heaven - Singapore is, like KL, a shopping Mecca. But bigger and shinier shops. The main street - orchard road - has literally hundreds of shops in tens of shopping malls - crazy and expensive! hehe

We also paid a visit to the only theme park based on chinese mythology, which told us about the 10 courts of hell - very nasty! :-s We got there partly by bus, which was interesting, but like most of our adventures here, we have travelled using the very, very efficient MRT (Mass Transit Railway) system. Its cool...

After that we went on a boat tour in from the boat quay on the river, which was a little interesting if not slightly disappointing! There seemed to be some sort of air show going on, with helicopters, planes tanks, missiles trucks, paratroopers! (real life BV to those in the know ;))

We then spent s$21 on a can of coke and a pint of beer :-( thats 7quid in sterling...... don't buy beer in singapore - its v expensive+++ (+++ = 3 x purchase taxes and is levied on luxury goods at tourist places doh)

After that, headed off to chinatown, had dinner and bought more crap to bring home with us! hehe

Eventually we got back and slept :-) hehe

Today we went to find a some strange bird singing thing and couldn't find it! hehe I think my book is a bit out of date!

We then went to 'Sintosa Island', a theme park island island, it was fairly interesting, and we got to see dolphins and monkeys :-)

Tonight we are gonna drink beer and go to little india again for shopping :-)

Laura has just written a massive post and it messed up, cos someone is downloading stuff and slowing down the connection - so i'm off now too!
