Yesterday, we had a day on the beach, and both tried water-skiing! Lots of fun, but we were both pretty poor, but we had never done it before so thats OK! We also had an interesting ride on a thing called a wing-two - a double holed rubber-ring thinger. Painful, but fun! ;-)

We are currently sitting in an internet cafe in Kota Bharu, mainland Malaysia, having boarded a boat from the Perhentians this morning and found a taxi here.

We have bought train tickets for our overnight trip to Kuala Lumpar at 1819 this evening, arriving KL 0745!

This should give us a day to get our wits about us and find a room, and hopefully enough time for some sightseeing :-)

This is the cheapest internet place so far, 2 ringitt per hour/ 33p per hour, which is not bad going! Haven't got card reader with me though, so can't upload any pics :-(

I'm hoping KL is going to be as nice as it sounds, the guide-books rave about the food there, so should be interesting! hehe

By the way, I'm hoping everyone is ok after the incidents in london last Wednesday(?)!! I'm guessing so, as haven't heard otherwise! :-) I suspect that as a result, there may be some extra security precautions travelling back into England!
