Still on the small island, very nice here!

The water is crytal clear and is lovely and warm :-)

We went on an organised snorkelling trip yesterday, and saw some cool stuff! I had bought an underwater camera, so we had some fun hiding behind coral and taking each other's pictures! hehe

We were supposed to see lots of turtles and sharks as part of the tour, but managed to spot only one of each, but we weren't expecting much more! hehe I managed to (hopefully) have my picture taken with the turtle, but it was about 4 metres down so we may have been out of focus as Laura was on the surface and I was with the turtle :)

We stopped for lunch at the fishing village and were given the opportunity to see the 'local culture' which was strange as there was no-one about and it was just a village with no tourists around and a couple of sheep :-) hehe

Today we plan to have a go at water skiing and this afternoon rent some snorkel gear and a kayak, then head off around the island for a bit and use up the film in the underwater camera! I'm thinking of constructing a waterproof case for my digi-camera when I get home! hehe

2moro we are going to leave this island and head off on the train from Kota Bharu to Kuala Lumpar (KL) not sure if we are gonna be able to get a daytime train through the jungle which is a bit of a shame!

We only have about 7 days left, so we are gonna have to plan our time carefully (shopping, eating, travelling, shopping, eat, shopping, travel, eat, home?) hehe

There are a couple of new pics in the gallery, but i'm gonna try to upload a few more now (Koh Samui etc)..... :)
